The line set you choose DOES make a difference

This is the 3rd mini-split system you've installed this week. And the last thing on your mind is the line set. Until it kinks. And you crack two flares. And you rip the insulation off going through the wall. Now, it's got your attention.

Today, line set failure is all too common. Every contractor has at least a couple stories of lines that kink just while simply unrolling it. Or burning the insulation while brazing. Just as bad are the line set failures that happen over time – where insulation loss reduces system efficiency and poor grade copper cracks at the flare and slowly loses refrigerant. Any one of these scenarios can mean a call-back.

And the only reason they failed in the first place is because of poor quality copper and poor quality insulation. You simply need a better quality line set.
